Is it just me, or is everyone zooming right on past Thanksgiving
straight to Christmas? I am seeing Christmas lights and other
decorations already on houses and in yards and a neighbor up
the street has not one but TWO Christmas trees up, lit and
shining proudly through their windows!
I don't know if it is because Thanksgiving fell so late in the
month this year or if people are just hurrying things up
more every year. I'm not really sure why we'd want to
rush to Christmas this year with the economy in the toilet
and families holding on tight to their money. On the other
hand, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ is FREE to
everyone; doesn't cost a cent.
