Is it only Tuesday?

I guess the reason it feels like it should be Friday when it's only

Tuesday is because it is the week before Thanksgiving Break.

I am SO ready.

The weather has been great so I've been walking as much as

possible. Yesterday and today I went across the street from

my school and walked around the lake at the park there. It's

gorgeous! It didn't even feel like exercise because I enjoyed

the view so much. Ducks, geese, dogs, little kids playing,

pretty fall leaves... Paige and I went to this same park on

Sunday with Lexie to walk. The above are pictures from there.

I don't know why the 2nd one looks so orange.

On my first pass around the lake, there were a bunch of geese

just honking and carrying on. When I came around the second

time, they were ALL standing stock still, asleep with their

beaks tucked into their feathers. They looked like plastic

goose yard decorations that someone had stuck in the ground!

Tonight Mike and I went to the golf booster club meeting.

It's a great group of parents; very supportive and

involved. Hannah is starting to get frustrated with the

colder weather (they cancel practice in the morning

when it's below a certain wind chill) and the Daylight

Savings Time (gets dark too early to play in the

afternoon).

I've had enough today. Time to crawl in bed, read a

little and lights out!
