It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a horse apple?

The weather has been great this week. I've been able to walk
around the lake by my school several days in a row. Today I
was walking down the embankment at the park to get to the
walking trail. As I was walking under the trees, I heard a
HUGE thump behind me. It sounded like someone jumping
out of a tree!

When I turned around, I saw a horse apple rolling down
the hill. It was bigger than any horse apple I have ever seen!
I looked up in the tree and there were a lot more horse
apples but they weren't as big as the one that fell.

I had a good laugh walking around the lake picturing the
paramedics having to call the school and tell them that I
had been felled by a horse apple on my daily walk. The
teasing would have never ended.

Ok, honey, I gotta say. Where I come from, being "felled by a horse apple" would be a far stinkier experience than something falling out of a tree!
